As a new season begins, so does a new body of work.
Over the next month I’ll be making some more great escape sculptures for my website and for a gallery. I’m excited to work with some new rocks, such as gabion rock, and various volcanic rocks.
I’m not going to lie, I’ve developed quite an interest in rocks! Having recently spent some time down in the South Island, it really sparked a curiosity in me. There are so many mountains and rivers filled with an incredible variety of rock, and I find myself becoming more and more fascinated by it.
I genuinely love creating these pieces so much, so I’m not surprised that they’ve been received so well.
