Ridgeline 1

Ridges explores the relationship between nature and architecture. The lines and shapes in the work are inspired by ridgelines and mountains. These forms also echo architectural elements, highlighting the parallels between natural landscapes and built structures.

Each piece of timber used in this work has been reclaimed from either a villa or a bungalow. The sculpture is constructed from kauri and matai, emphasising the texture, history, and materiality of the wood.
